The Personal Telco Project runs the #ptp channel on irc.personaltelco.net, a member of the Wireless IRC network. Nothing useful happens in #ptp though, so don't expect deep and revealing dicussions into the meta-physical plane of existence, or anything.
If you are an IRC newbie like myself you might find the IrcHelp page useful for some basic commands. -- AdamShand
Server: irc.personaltelco.net or irc.freenetworks.org BR Channel: #wireless, #ptp
Browsers like Mozilla will allow you to paste the following URL into it (assuming that you have [http://www.hacksrus.com/~ginda/chatzilla/ ChatZilla] installed): BR irc://irc.personaltelco.org/ptp
Another very popular general wireless channel is #wireless on irc.freenode.net. not to be confused with irc.freenetworks.org, they are two seperate networks.
irc.bcwireless.net offers an archive of sorts.
Regulars on the channel, please list yourselves here.

If you really need to reach someone you are better off to try the mailing list or web page which have much larger participation. Or you could use the !send command in WifiFred.
- Also please note there have been spontaneous channels created around #wireless like #wireless-es by a couple of people from .es. So ask around.
An active list of wireless channels is available from [http://www.bcwireless.net/wififred/online.php BC Wireless.net].
A WirelessIRC network has also recently been created, with many people in Australia and North America present. Connect to irc.freenetworks.org port 6667. We have recently switched to this network.
