Notes

  • Russell was delayed arriving, Keegan and Dat discovered that the original location was closed for remodelling or something, relocated to NodeLuckyLab at about 6:50 pm. Subsequently learned that we missed CharlesHill, an attendee from the previous week. Hopefully next week will work better.

  • Dat had a suggestion about PersonalTelco doing hardware reviews through SamChurchill dailywireless.org. Russell indicated a willingness to consider such an arrangement.

  • Russell mentioned the recent, impending domain name expirations. Keegan suggested we renew everything for 10 years.
  • Russell mentioned that we have the flange adapters ready to go, need to know what other mounting hardware is needed for ArborLodge.

  • Russell provided a WGT634U, wallwart (formerly of NodeDragonfly) and a USB-serial cable to Keegan for FooCab firmware development work.

  • Russell mentioned the impending Broadband Strategic Plan session at the City Council next week, September 14th.
  • Russell and Keegan discussed how we might do ipv6 tunnels to all the nodes using our /48 allocation from HurricaneElectric. Russell pointed out that all the ipv6 traffic would get funneled through donk at this point, which seemed suboptimal. Iris was mentioned as an alternative. Maybe not a problem at this point, due to relatively light ipv6 utilization.

  • <other things that I am now not remembering, please correct>
