  • KeeganQuinn is not at this meeting, but is putting some notes here anyway. -- Yep KeeganQuinn wasn't here.

  • Rocky Butte seems to be down. There are no longer any beacon packets flying eastward towards KeeganQuinn's house. Please Help. -- Need more info about problem maybe. Why is it down. Can someone drive by and check if it is up or down?

  • KeeganQuinn would really like to get half a dozen NuCABs out of his basement. Aaron, Nigel, Tom - installation dates for prospective nodes would be very welcome. -- TomFitz says these will be moved out to new nodes. ShawnWelter asks if we can prep all of them for use as nodes and then store them somewhere?

  • AaronBaer , KeeganQuinn and TomHiggins are working on a new node on Hawthorne close to ["Node143"] -- no info no talk

TomFitz - We Need a slide show, info and a person to give presentation for possible nodes in north Portland in Mississippi area. Possible roof access on top of recycle center. IF we can do a good demo this would be a great area to expand into.   • TomFitz and KeeganQuinn: Automated database to facilitate generating statistics.   • KeeganQuinn is interested in doing a satellite dish modification workshop involving 2.4 GHz and/or 5.8 GHz bands based on Trevor Marshall's bi-quad design with Primestar and possibly DirecTV/Dish Networks reflectors. AaronBaer and TomFitz both volunteer locations. Planning to hold the event in February, after TomHiggins' January installfest. update: AaronBaer says Jan31st for research day, then feb for actual event. (Change 01/13/04) DarrinEden has made a motion to make the day focused on UNII antennas. Discusion was had with an outcome to having a primary focus on UNII but open to ISM as well. It was so moved.
