Focus Meeting
Revision of MissionStatement
The current Mission Statement: Personal Telco is a Portland based grassroots effort which helps communities build alternative communication networks. By creating, packaging and disseminating Open Source tools, documentation and community support, we are building city wide wireless networks which are open to, and maintained by, the public.
Will be revised to this: Personal Telco Project is a nonprofit organization which promotes public wireless access through community support and education.
The decision was made that this mission statement reflects the goals of PersonalTelcoProject and will help set the futue focus of the group.
General Meeting
- The main purpose of the meeting was to review plans for the upcoming ITEC trade show.
