• Don mentioned that our UnWirePortland speaker cancelled, but showed some photos of the MetroFi APs instead

• Caleb gives an introduction to wifidog, complete with slides (pdf version here)

  • Although it wasn't his intention, people seem to be enthusiastic about WifiDog and want to deploy it somewhere on the PTP network as a testbed (outside of NodeSmallWhiteCube). NodeMississippi seems like a good candidate.

  • RussellSenior - did another node audit of the westside, by himself

• RussellSenior shows off the latest iteration of the JasonMcArthur-brand WGT stumbler. New additions include an external antenna and a bluetooth-usb-dongle as activator switch. Russell is elected ubergeek by RickLindahl.

• DonPark announces PlayDay9, which will be on Nov. 11th and will be an educational experiment in OLSR adhoc mesh networking

• Education Update: No progress on PTPUDVD, next step is to dig into MIT OpenCouseWare for (re)usable work there

• Mississippi Update: RussellSenior gives it. Says most of the gear for the next node is here, just need LuckyMike to pick a date and we can do it.

• FinanceComittee: No Troy. Sadness.

• FieldDay2006: Announced and pimped.
