Agenda
- Node notes:
- NodeC3PO -- as of 5/26:
- Online for 23 days
- 103 devices connected for more than 2 hours
- 14133 device-hours connected
- 420 Gigabytes transferred
NodeTibbetts -- CL fiber install happened today
- Installer was a contractor, wasn't allowed to touch the phone line
- Had a drill
- Was unsuccessful getting the second screw to bite in the stucco siding, so just left it hanging from one screw.
- Current install comes with free installation + free "modem", two parts: an inside Calix and a router.
- We'll probably replace their router with an ER-X
- Speedtest to CL server was seeing only 300Mbps from a wired machine
NodeBuffaloGap -- got an email today complaining about offline access points, apparently ap2 and ap4 are not pingable, but at least ap2 is still broadcasting beacons. Working on diagnosing over email.
NodeSteele -- complaints about inadequate upload speed.
- NodeC3PO -- as of 5/26:
- Digital Inclusion Network meeting today
- Russell reported on the NodeC3PO installation
- Complained gently about the county's willingness to engage
- Bread making updates:
- higher hydration makes rise go faster, popping the top off the popper!
- oven thermometer suggests the oven is only 425F when 450F is requested
Notes
- Node notes
- Jet dropped vpn tunnel, lost about a day of data
- issue with decompressing a NAND storage block, Russell reflashed
