MAP at the bottom of the page BR Here is some Stuff that I've been working on. http://www.cat.pdx.edu/~baera/redhat_hostap/ These packages are built from the Current stable kernel release from RedHat. They apply all of their standard patching and modifications. In addition I have added a patch for HostAP, added the HostAP source code into the kernel tree, and modified the x86 based (athlon,i386,i586,i686) configs to build all of the HostAP drivers as modules. Including the plx and pci drivers. BR Here are prebuilt packages that I have supplied: BR kernel-2.4.18-27.8.0.HOSTAP.src.rpm BR kernel-2.4.18-27.8.0.HOSTAP.i386.rpm BR kernel-2.4.18-27.8.0.HOSTAP.i686.rpm BR kernel-source-2.4.18-27.8.0.HOSTAP.i386.rpm Also, here is a hostap_cs.conf file that should be placed in /etc/pcmcia to bind your card to the hostap driver. -Aaron And Here is some more exciting news. I set up a apt cache for those using apt-get for rpm on Red Hat 8.0. Add these to your sources.list files and apt away.. BR #For i386: BR rpm http://www.cat.pdx.edu/~baera/apt/ 8.0/i386 hostap BR #For i686: BR rpm http://www.cat.pdx.edu/~baera/apt/ 8.0/i686 hostap BR #For SRC: BR rpm-src http://www.cat.pdx.edu/~baera/apt/ 8.0/i386 hostap BR The list of all the pages I've contributed to: FullSearch() |
