Content for Nodes
In addition to providing Internet access, some nodes are offering unique new localized content or services to Personal Telco users. For example:
- many nodes have local wikis, which can be used as a means of community interaction,
- Urban Grind is participating in an Urban Grind Community Website project by Intel Research.
- the NE Laurelhurst node has an original local music archive,
- the SE Alder node has collections of freely-available literature and audio, and

Common Content
Some pieces of content are available from many nodes, so that they are quickly and easily accessible to everyone. Current common content items are:
- important free software downloads,
- The Personal Telco Project website, and
- Personal Telco meeting archives and audio recordings.
Create and Distribute
These shared content items are managed centrally on a Personal Telco server. Storage and distribution is implemented via a Subversion repository which is publically writable; everyone has equal control over the contents, similar to a wiki.
You are encouraged to add any items which are freely distributable and widely useful; information about Subversion is available from the official web site, and there is an excellent book available. The repository is located at:
